WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - A fair amount of sunshine on Saturday and warm with highs in the mid 80s. A similar story on Sunday with more sun than clouds and daytime temps topping out in the mid 80s.

Even warmer on Monday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. There is a chance of a shower or storm later Monday night into Tuesday morning. Otherwise, partly sunny on Tuesday, warm, and a bit more humid with highs in the mid 80s. Intervals of sun and clouds Wednesday with a chance of showers or storms. Highs in the mid 80s.

The next best chances of showers or storms could be with a cold front Thursday.

Thursday is expected to feature the best chances of showers or storms locally as a cold front could make its way across the region. If the storms do arrive for the afternoon into the early evening on Thursday, some could be on the strong side with gusty winds, hail, and downpours. It is still too early to say if this will be a First Alert Weather Day, but we are going to keep in an eye on the latest storm trends as the next few days go by. Warm and humid Thursday with highs in the low to mid 80s. Next Friday is partly cloudy and pleasant with highs in the low 80s.
