NEW INFO: Fire damages shed, mobile home saved in Schofield

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - A storage shed is a total loss after fire at a Schofield mobile home court.

Captain Adam Grahn tells NewsChannel 7 the Riverside Fire District was called to the Northern Housing Community on Grand Avenue at about 5:45 Monday afternoon.

They arrived to find the shed engulfed in flames, with those flames threatening a nearby mobile home.

The exterior of the mobile home was damaged, but crews managed to prevent it from spreading to the inside. However, there may be water damage inside from fighting the flames.

Capt. Grahn says the shed and some tools inside were destroyed.

No one was hurt and there’s no word on a cause.
